This page is very much a work in progress and won't be finished anytime soon. It's just not priority right now, but I've written for some raunchy rock 'n' roll magazines, and I think I've kind of lived it so there might be something here for you. I have a book on music very spread out and in seemingly violent disarray. Should be done in about fifty years, a few days after Neil Young's archives.

When I lived in the Deep South I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time in blues bars. On our way out of America we made a pilgrimage to Chess Records.

I wrote a lot of concert reviews for awhile. I'm not sure why I stopped. I wish I would have written something about Joanna MacGregor, she was so great. Maybe I thought I couldn't. Anyway, here are some that were relatively easy to dig up out of my personal and unorganized archives.
