HUDSON HAWK (1991) *1/2 You could almost say that it has high-rent pretensions (the relationship between the CIA and the Vatican, the alchemy of Leonardo da Vinci), but it's really more like name dropping. Willfully superficial and ridiculous, the abrupt and abbreviated plot walls are short cuts rather than satire or surrealism. I'm sorry to say that Andie MacDowell and Danny Aiello are in it. Bruce Willis is swinging like an ape on a cable when he runs into a tv antennae, thereby interfering with the Pope's reception of Mr. Ed in Italian; that's pretty much how it goes.
