THE ADVENTURES OF ICHABOD AND MR. TOAD (1949) **1/2 I can't look at Mr. Toad (***1/2) without thinking of Brian Jones. The joyous immediacy of the moment, the paramount gratification of the senses. Naturally he runs afoul of the law and eventually has to route the weasels from Toad Hall, something that, sadly, Brian never did. The joys of a canary yellow gypsy cart. Ichabod (*1/2) doesn't really heat up until the climactic scenes.
