NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2 (2009) ** Owen Wilson has become a star of the magnitude, I get amused just seeing his name in the opening credits. Which is good, because he doesn't do much here—no one does, no one could—there are good stars and lousier stars and none of them do much of anything. That's fine. It's a good kids' movie: lots of action keeps moving, weird and surprising stuff on the loose, freewheeling, fair. Not like you couldn't leave for most of it and come back without missing a beat, but there are plenty of pretty good bits. Feel free trying this in your own sandbox or backyard.
