NAPOLEON DYNAMITE (2004) *1/2 It's not a very dynamic film: Neomaxizoondweebies on parade. In small town Idaho, of course. Every character is an idiot or asshole, most often both. But it's not formulaic, in fact barely scripted. If there's a point, it's a not entirely misanthropic one, truth is they probably mean well. I'm glad my wife's not like any of the girls in this movie. But if I was like any of the boys in the movie, it probably wouldn't be so bad. I think that was it, something like that, I'll not linger.
