FANTASTIC FOUR (2005) ** See, it's kind of the same thing like the comic book. I never really got into the comics of it, because there's this guy who's kind of like Plastic Man except that he's boring even though he can stretch for two city blocks, there's a guy kind of like Hulk but he doesn't turn green, there's the babe totem but she got nuthin' on Catwoman, and there's a guy who catches on fire and flies around all the time...it's just not enough. So here they do the same thing; yes Jessica Alba is going straight onto millions of high school boys walls, yep their girlfriends will retaliate by going on about Chris Evans' chest, and in the meantime they've spent a few hours with a derivative cartoon of a comic. The cast all has something to do with their characters, and money was definitely spent on it, and the climactic battle is cool, and it never really gains enough momentum to lose much, but it keeps pluggin' away without putting you to sleep physically...ah hell, listen to me, whaddya want in a superhero comic, a superhero?
