BONNIE & CLYDE (1967) *** The film that launched a few hundred bored, violent, politically well-meaning but hopelessly counterproductive revolutionaries. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway are smart, nonconformist, in love, and rob banks. Freud would have something to say, about Clyde in particular. I guess they didn't rob the farmers because the banks already had. It looks like they always tried to go back and save their fellow gang members, however incompetent. Wasn't much money in organizing the farmers. Wouldn't have been much fun anyways. Acceleration and bad poetry.
